Rupert Cryer is an Assistant Director at the Cabinet Office, working in Policy Lab.
With extensive experience of working at the centre of government, he has run strategic Capability Reviews of government departments, contributed to the Behavioural Insights Team’s energy use paper, and co-founded the Cabinet Office Policy School - a new approach to developing policy understanding, championed by the Cabinet Secretary.
Rupert is currently leading SKYrooms - "exceptional spaces that inspire innovation". Having pitched the idea to the Cabinet Office Accelerator, he is implementing the programme based in Policy Lab.
Rupert is a Policy Fellow at Cambridge University, with a particular focus on innovation and entrepreneurship.
