The Gold Standards Framework Centre team have, for over fifteen years, trained many thousands of doctors, nurses and care home staff to optimise the care of all people in the final years of life, enabling them to live well until they die in the place and the manner of their choosing.
The new GSF programme in End of Life Care for People with Dementia aims to improve their care in the last years of life. By making care more person-centred, improving the assessment and management of symptoms, better communication and reducing avoidable hospital admissions, more people are enabled to live and die well in their usual place of residence
