Health Education England (HEE) supports the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement across England by ensuring that the current and future workforce have the right skills, values and behaviours. In line with the ‘Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia 2020’, HEE’s national dementia education and training programme aims to ensure all NHS staff receive dementia training appropriate to their role. This is achieved by working with organisations across health and social care, and facilitating the development and sharing of high quality training resources through its regional and local networks.
