GydEd revolutionises the way universities improve student retention and student well-being. As a team of recent graduates, we saw a massive gap in the way universities approach students’ declining mental health and drop out rates. Without being able to understand and map out how students are feeling on a regular basis, proactively addressing retention and well-being issues become impossible. That’s where we come in. Our software checks in with students in a quick, engaging way, and provides you with the insights to improve retention numbers and overall student well-being.

We developed a specialised chatbot, integrated directly into your LMS, that checks in with students every week. Based on how students answer, the chatbot recommends personalised on-campus resources. These resources are available to students by the click of a button. By using the LMS as our platform, we reach students where they spend a lot of their time. This coupled with short, engaging check-ins, has led to a surprisingly high level of student engagement. Since deploying with our partners we have seen a >70% weekly response rate from students.

GydEd also provides a full suite of tools in our dashboard for university administrators and wellness professionals to understand the data and take action. Here we show exactly how your students are feeling, factors behind why they feel that way, LMS activity/inactivity, resource usage and interest, and many other data points. We even compile a list of potential at-risk students so you can proactively support them. These insights give your leadership and wellness teams the data they need to increase retention, improve well-being, and guide spending/budgeting.

Our team is passionate about supporting students all across the world. If you are interested in learning more about our solution, or have any questions, please visit our website (www.gyded.me) or email us directly at hello@gyded.me.
