Christina’s most recent project www.sharesomesecrets.com is a safeguarding children’s book, endorsed by children’s charities NSPCC and Barnardo’s encouraging children to speak out. Sheffield Hallam University are in the process of animating the publication to be made available for all children to view.
Christina Gabbitas is a children’s award winning author, poet, storyteller and voiceover artist. Christina is passionate about encouraging children to read and write, winning a national Dame Beryl Bainbridge Award for encouraging children (2015) and also won the Yorkshire Women of Achievement Education Award 2016.
Christina spoke live nationally on Sky News about her project, which gained support from the Education Secretary.
