Zoe Mayhew Personal Statement
I am a conscientious and professional individual with extensive experience within social care. I have experience of providing direct services to people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health illness in a variety of settings such as Residential Care Homes, Domiciliary Care Services and Community Support Services.
I have a proven track record of success. I was responsible for leading on the significant change programme within a Local Authority of out sourcing the domiciliary care service and replacing it within an in house Reablement Service that has now been successfully in place since 2011. For the past 4 years I have worked in Commissioning and I am responsible for providing commssionined services for older people. I have successfully tendered a new Domiciliary Care Contract with an annual purchasing value of £25million and the development of a new team and approach to Quality and Improvement for commissioned services within the Local Authority. Utilising my excellent communication and negotiation skills, I have developed firm partnerships with key stakeholders such as local Clinical Commissioning Groups, Customer representatives, CQC, Local Authority neighbours, Private Providers and a GP federation. These partnerships have resulted in joint commissioning developments within the following portfolio areas: delivery of Dementia Services underpinned by our joint Dementia Strategy; Care Home market for adults; Adult Carers and Care At Home services, with the aim of providing safe, secure, consistent, personalised and high quality support and services to adults.
