Zoë Allman is an academic leader passionate about enhancing opportunities for all, and developing sector approaches to embedding mental wellbeing. Based at De Montfort University in Leicester, Zoë is an Associate Dean (Academic) for the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media, and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA 2018), National Teaching Fellow (NTF 2020), and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence winner (CATE 2022).
Zoë is an active member of the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) Higher Education Advisory Panel, Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) Student Opportunity and Achievement Committee (SOAC), and Deputy Communications Officer for the Committee of the Association of National Teaching Fellows. Extending impact beyond Higher Education, Zoë is also a Governor for Leicester College Corporation, and L.E.A.D. Forest Lodge Academy.
