Waldo is a Peer Recovery Trainer with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. After several years of accessing secondary mental health services, Waldo then completed a User Employment Placement in Westminster Community Day Services.
He was introduced to the concept of co-production when he played an active part in co-producing CNWL’s Health and Wellbeing plans and also played a key role in initiating the Trust’s Peer Support Worker programme. He has also completed an accredited Peer Support Training programme and is a member of the Trust’s ImROC Project Board driving Recovery focused practice across the organisation.
Waldo has been employed as a Peer Recovery Trainer in the CNWL Recovery College since it opened in January 2012 and has taken an active role in co-developing and co-delivering the courses. With ImROC he has delivered presentations and training and is involved in the national promotion of peer support within the workforce.
