Verity was born in Windsor, a fact her Mum is extremely proud of! her childhood years ‘down South’ in leafy Bucks were happy and she moved ‘up North’ to Yorkshire at 13; this was a character building challenge for an only child & she believed helped the empathy she had for her youngest daughter at this age. Verity's Uni days were in Cambridge teacher training, having fun, making life long friends…. & got a decent degree! Then followed the ‘Disney’ chapter of her life when she married a doctor, became a Mum, got a dog and lived in a detached house with driveway/ garage & drove a fancy car. What more could she ask for? …. Not a life with narcissism and emotional abuse; damaging for any woman/man and their family. Life moved from Disney, to divorce, death and disaster. The impact of these life experiences and hidden traumas are part of her family and created so much strength and ambition. Verity embraced them rather than resent them as they have taught many harsh lessons and led her to where she is personally and professionally today.
