Tim is a Deputy Director in the Personalised Care Group at NHS England & NHS Improvement, working within the Strategy and Innovation Directorate and leading on the development and implementation of the comprehensive model or Personalised Care across all seven regions in England. In addition to his Personalised Care responsibilities, Tim also leads on the national End of Life Care Programme.
Tim is also a non-executive director for a Community Interest Company providing prison healthcare, drug and substance misuse support and sexual health services. Tim is also a trustee of Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Tim joined NHS England in November 2016, and was formerly Chief Executive of the Health and Social Care Information Centre (now NHS Digital). Tim is also qualified dentist and chartered accountant and has also held a number of other national and local senior leadership roles within health and social care.
In his spare time Tim likes to run ultras and cycle up hills in Yorkshire.
