Tim McDougall is National Professional Advisor (Children and Young People’s Mental Health) for the Care Quality Commission and Director of Nursing and Quality at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. Tim spent 15 years as a CAMHS Nurse Consultant and several as a Clinical Director in CAMHS and Children’s Services, he has worked in a range of clinical settings including community child mental health teams, adolescent in-patient services and secure adolescent forensic services. Tim was formerly Nurse Advisor for CAMHS at the Department of Health and Social Care, as well as a member of several National Advisory Councils. He is interested in quality improvement and service transformation.
