Sue is a Regional Director with the Pegasus Group and is responsible for their public engagement and consultation specialism. She has wide ranging and extensive experience of planning and public consultation gained in the public, private and voluntary sectors at national, regional and local levels.
Sue has worked with a range of organisations, across a variety of sectors, to advise on best practice in public engagement. She has a particular expertise in controversial public consultations and has provided expert advice and guidance as a Peer Reviewer.
As National Planner for the RTPI/Planning Aid England she authored the “Good Practice Guide to Public Engagement in Development Schemes” and as a Senior Lecturer in Planning Law and Practice, she led the research into public speaking at planning committees, now a recognised practice in most authorities.
Sue is a regular speaker at national conferences focusing on public engagement in the planning system. She is Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
