Sophie is a Fellow in Health Policy at the Nuffield Trust. Since joining the Trust in 2015, Sophie has focused on how digital technology can improve healthcare. Published work includes an exploration of patient-facing technologies, a review of how technology can support new service models in primary care and a large project on the wide-ranging benefits of digital technologies in healthcare.

Prior to joining the Trust, Sophie worked as an Analyst at RAND Europe. Her work there spanned a diverse range of research areas, including health innovation and drug discovery, attitudes towards vaccines and strategic health policy. She conducted research for the Department of Health, Public Health England, Vaccines Europe and the Structural Genomics Consortium.
