Sheena Cumiskey has been chief executive at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) since February 2010. In 2014 she was selected by her peers as one of the Health Service Journal’s Top 50 NHS Chief Execs. Sheena has 31 years’ experience in the NHS, 19 of which have been at Chief Executive level. Her raison d’etre is to improve the lives of people who access CWP services, whilst working in partnership with them to ensure everyone can achieve their potential. Sheena considers that NHS staff are working for potentially the most vibrant social enterprise, where clinical care is based on doing the best for people effectively and efficiently.
