Sarah is the Head of Health, Ageing and Care in the Social Action Team at the Cabinet Office. Through the Centre for Social action she leads a team of civil servants to design and deliver grant funding of £14 million to grow innovative social action health and social care projects across England. This includes the £3.2 million Reducing Winter Pressures on Hospitals fund, £1 million Carers Social Action Support Fund and the £1 million End of Life Social Action Support Fund. The projects are being funded to increase the reach of their projects, robustly evaluate their impact and achieve sustainable funding from their local health systems.
An innovation strategist and policy professional, Sarah has worked in central and London government, the UK charitable sector and the NHS to help organisations clarify their vision and direction and enable them to better meet the needs of their users and beneficiaries.
