Sam has over 30 years’ experience in the energy sector, starting out as an engineer and having spent much of his time in senior management and board positions within the oil and gas sector. For the last 12 years, Sam has been deeply involved in the delivery of early stage CCS projects and studies, including developing projects from the concept stage through to FEED. He has been involved in business models and commercial aspects of multiple CCS projects and has provided strategic advice and support to the private and public sector. He is currently involved with the Cost Challenge Task Force activity in the UK. Sam has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and in his spare time he enjoys running and mountaineering.
