Sabina has worked for Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the equivalent predecessor organisations for over 14 years in a variety of roles. She has been working in the mental health policy team since September 2014.
Sabina is the policy lead for the specialist children and young people’s mental health core services at CQC. She was a key project team member for the thematic review into children and young people’s mental health services. She also leads on developing inspection tools and guidance for mental health inspections.
Sabina has a degree in BSc Psychology and maintains graduate registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS).She completed her MSc in Health Policy at Imperial College in 2017, gaining a merit grade overall and a distinction for her dissertation, which considered if CQC inspections encourage improvement in specialist child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) in London.
