Rob started his social career in 1982 as a residential child care worker in Enfield. After eight years of “front line” support work, Rob progressed through the management ranks, firstly with NACRO Supported Housing as both Project leader and Regional Manager. He has been a director or CEO of three different charities, most recently serving ten years as CEO of Bethphage, a learning disability specialist provider in the West Midlands and Shropshire. His social care experience includes working with children, young homeless people, ex-offenders, children with life limiting conditions and adults with learning and physical disabilities. Rob joined CQC as Head of Inspection for Adult Social Care in the North-West in September 2014.
