Rob is responsible for the charity’s mental health services. He has a keen interest in understanding and improving how young people access the mental health support they need.
At The Children’s Society, Rob develops partnerships and innovative approaches to improve how child and adolescent mental health services support young people experiencing multiple disadvantage. Rob manages relationships with many funders including public bodies, individual philanthropists and charitable foundations.
Before joining the charity, Rob was Assistant Director at Wolverhampton City Council. He has also worked in central government and the NHS. At the former Government Office representing 10 central government departments across the West Midlands, he led the development of a joint local authority and NHS adolescent health framework. He also chaired regional commissioning of highly specialist child and adolescent mental health services.
