Ray has a strong background in social work which has included setting up and managing a busy learning disability fieldwork social work team for a period of ten years. As an approved Mental Health Practitioner, Ray has also been involved in organising Mental Health Act assessments in a range of settings and has spent time working as an Emergency Duty Social Worker.
As Head of Development and Partnership for Consensus in the North of the UK, Ray has quickly built strong relationships with the key Local Authorities, particularly in the Greater Manchester area. Ray works strategically with local commissioners to develop new services to meet local needs and particularly services which support people who have very complex and challenging needs.
