Rachel has over 10 years of experience working predominantly with young people with care experience; in various roles including participation, engagement, facilitation and co-design. She has designed and delivered innovative programmes on a national and local level that amplify the voices of young people with care experience. In her current role as National Project Coordinator of Triangles- she has been delivering the Triangles programme nationally for the past 4 years as part of Barnardo’s Care Journeys- a Core Priority Programme that aims to achieve systemic change by funding young people’s ideas and creating an inclusive space for innovation. Rachel is passionate about building caring communities, combatting the stigma of care experience and a care system that is founded on love and care and humanity.
