Paul Allis is Brain in Hand’s Business Development Director, a role to which he brings twenty years of experience in health and social care. He has been involved in the delivery of smart technology solutions for much of his professional life, supporting vulnerable people and working with organisations across the UK to improve the quality of care and to empower both individuals and support services to be the best they can be. In pursuit of this goal, he served for seven years on the Board of UK Telehealthcare.
Passionate about supporting people to be the best version of themselves, Paul recognises the importance of both improving the lives of individual people and supporting service providers to deliver better outcomes in a more cost-effective way. In order to continue delivering quality care services at scale, and in an uncertain financial landscape, support providers urgently need to introduce changes in their pathways that will enhance their work and ease their budgets: Paul believes that this can be made possible by providing these agencies with the best and most appropriate technology to help people achieve the outcomes to which they aspire.
Through a person-centred, technology-enabled approach, Paul has seen that organisations can reduce the burden on existing services, extend the reach of all-important human support, decrease the number of crises, and create smart data-led insights that lets providers know for certain that they are delivering the right support at the right time for the individual.
Paul’s dream for the future is that technological solutions and other innovations will make it possible for everyone to receive the support they need and to be as independent as they can be.
