As an ambitious young woman, Pat Jones-Greenhalgh
started her career by engaging her creative flair and
working as a local hairdresser. Within this role she
developed her people skills and empathy for others,
she quickly realised that she wanted to pursue a career
where she could help others. Pat started as a Care
Assistant before progressing to a Qualified Social
Worker, then holding many senior leadership positions
within The Council ultimately achieving two Master’s
Degrees and reaching the level of Chief Executive in
2017. Pat held the position of ADASS national lead for
Dementia up to leaving the council in July 2018. Pat
still has a keen interest in this area through her
Associate position with ADASS.
Pat is an experienced strategic leader with a well
evidenced track record of impact in front line services,
efficiency, improvements, organisational development
and people engagement. Utilising her wealth of
experience and her passion for placing people at the
heart of service reform, Pat is not afraid to challenge
‘the norm’ in order to improve the lives of the most
vulnerable in society, challenge stigma and empower
people to reach their full potential.
