Oliver began working with IE in 2000 and became a director when IE bought his digital consultancy in 2003.
Oliver is now responsible for heading up IE GDS’s talented digital service teams – both developers and consultants. Although no longer hands on with production work, Oliver remains fascinated by and deeply involved in digital strategy and technologies, particularly when its potential is applied to solving real world problems.
He loves to immerse himself in organisational strategic challenges and to look for innovative digital solutions to those challenges – appropriate for the world of today and tomorrow.
He’s led co-creation workshops with senior stakeholders from organisations including Public Health England, NHS Digital and West Midlands Fire Service. An engaging public speaker, he’s presented to NHS CIOs at the HIMSS Executive Leadership Summit, to a delegation of Chinese healthcare executives through Nine Health CIC and to senior executives from The International Association of Gaming Regulators.
