Nicola is a dedicated mother of an autistic children and a passionate advocate for neurodiversity. In her role as a family consultant at Dimensions UK, she supports and amplify the voices of families within the organization, striving to support and celebrate the unique qualities of each individual. Her ambition for her family is driven by the remarkable learning and strengths of her children.
Inspired by her children's journeys, Nicola pursued a degree in psychology and additional training in forensic psychology, neurolinguistic programming (NLP), and counselling.
She is committed to understanding and supporting the challenges faced by autistic individuals and fostering environments where their strengths can flourish. She brings a family perspective to discussions on the impact of language and advocate for a society that truly celebrates differences by using language that is empathetic, respectful and inclusive for all.
