Neil Calland is a Senior Programme Lead working for NHS England. He managed the Nursing Technology Fund, which saw £65m distributed to support a range of local projects, from vital signs monitoring solutions to mobile working in the community. Subsequently, he led on the Local Digital Roadmaps agenda, which saw local health and care systems across the country set out their aspirations and plans for becoming paper-free at the point of care. Neil is now working on a proposal to secure further investment in provider digitisation, beyond the Global Digital Exemplar Programme.
