Michelle is an executive coach and change management consultant with 30 years of international experience. For the last 10 years she has worked as a partner for Jupiter Consulting Group, a consultancy dedicated to “Adding Life Back Into Work”.
Her approach to coaching, change, and capability building is appreciative, focusing first on ‘what works’. She is a strengths based coach who coaches her clients around their ‘gifts and talents’, not around their gaps. She is an effective change leader, helping her clients design change strategies that engage hearts and minds.
She is passionate about building inclusive cultures and leadership capability by focusing on authenticity, purpose and values. Finally, she is passionate about helping organisations build a leadership pipeline full of female talent and promoting balanced gender leadership in business.
Michelle was raised in the US and has lived in England for 14 years. She has an MA in Organisational Behaviour from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Business from University of Maryland.
She is at ease with the challenges of the cross-cultural, diverse environments which characterise today’s global business world, and works effectively with different functional, educational and cultural backgrounds.
She is on the Advisory Board of PWN-Global (Professional Women’s Network), a non-profit dedicated to promoting the progress of professional women and changing corporate cultures to embrace gender balanced leadership.
She is a mentor to the myHRCareers network, a community providing aspiring HR professionals with the connections, skills and opportunities needed to succeed.
She is a volunteer, helping the UK branch of the Change Management Institute (CMI), a global, independent, not-for-profit organisation set up to promote and develop the profession of change management internationally.
Michelle speaks frequently about Change, Happiness at Work, Authentic Leadership, Strengths, 21st Century Workplaces and how to be ‘Politically Savvy’ and a good person too!
