Mike’s first job was in Supply Chain Management at Aviva, the worlds fifth largest Global, Financial Services organisation, where he worked from 2001 to 2012. In 2013 Mike joined Crown Commercial Service as a Senior Buyer and was promoted to his current position of Head of Cloud and Digital in 2015.
His current role has responsibility for over 1,000 Cloud and Digital suppliers, managing spend in excess of £600M. Mike has grown the SME presence within government technology procurement to its current state where £1 in every £2 is being spent with SME’s through the Cloud and Digital commercial vehicles.
Mike studied at both the University of Liverpool and University of East Anglia and has PhD in hydro-geochemistry,
