Martine Verweij is the founding CEO of the UK charity Kids Run Free, and founding Director of Raceways. Martine has over 10 years’ experience in sports event management, and has competed internationally for Great Britain and the Netherlands in cyclo-cross and triathlon. The charity operates ‘Kids Run Free’ in the parks and ‘Marathon Kids’ in schools. Martine’s mission is to create free, fun, sustainable, running opportunities for every child inspiring them to be active on a regular basis by goal setting, tracking, role-modelling, rewarding and celebrating.
