Maria currently leads the Grandmentors programme at Volunteering Matters. Grandmentors is an innovative project that sees older volunteers use their lifetime of skills and experience to support young people leaving the care system.
Prior to her work at Grandmentors Maria has led a number of programmes across the third sector including supporting young people into employment, survivors or domestic abuse, children from less privileged backgrounds and children and young people experiencing poor mental health.
