Maria has worked for the charity MacIntyre for 27 years and has been in her current post as the Head of Operations for MacIntyre’s No Limits Education services since March 2015.
This is a national role overseeing MacIntyre’s No Limits provisions and which work in partnership with FE colleges, mainstream and special schools offering local alternative education solutions for children and young people with a range of additional needs for both school aged (primary and secondary) and young people in FE.
Starting her career as Support Worker Maria went on to work in the charity’s social care division as a registered manager of both residential care homes and domiciliary care agencies for adults with learning disabilities, and complex needs. Maria has also managed adult Life Long Learning provisions for the charity and prior to her current role spent six years as the Head of Care at MacIntyre’s residential special school in Buckinghamshire
