Maggie Murdoch has been working with Alzheimer’s Society for just over 3 years, based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Maggie is a Volunteering Officer, supporting staff to recruit fantastic volunteers for the Society and she is also a Dementia Support Worker who facilitates Carers’ Information and support groups.
Maggie’s previous roles have included: Programme Head for Personal and Professional Development at the University of Manchester and Manager of Salford Volunteer Centre.
Maggie believes we can make a real difference to people living with dementia and their carers. She is also inspired by her mum, Nancy, who has been living with Alzheimer’s disease for the last 2 years.
