Leah has a long-standing career in the sector and joined Dimensions in 2022 as a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, looking at how best to increase a person’s quality of life and reduce challenging behaviours. She has been working on supporting an adult move out of hospital setting and into their own home.
She initially studied Special Needs Education before working at a Special Needs School in London where she was able to gain her MSc in Positive Behaviour Support, and is keen to continue to expand her skills and knowledge so will be looking for further opportunities.
For Leah, knowledge sharing across the sector is particularly vital. We can all learn from each other experiences and skills and she sees networking events such as today as key in doing so. In this way, we can continue to raise the standards and strive for excellence for those we support in all that we do.
