Katie is one of three NACCOM Network Development Co-ordinator supporting members to build capacity and opportunity that leads to better pathways out of destitution. Katie has worked within the Refugee & Homelessness sector for 22 years, starting her career at the St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax In 2002, where she helped set up and lead a support centre specifically for people seeking asylum and refugees. She has gone on to set up and develop several destitution projects including a foodbank, night shelter and a supported housing project
