The model of learning and development in Notts Healthcare is comprehensive with every aspect of professional training , medical and non-medical training, essential training, leadership and management development, IT Training and Recovery training dovetailed with a very strong organisational development model.
Julian has led in corporate roles within Nottinghamshire for the past ten years; he is a registered mental health nurse with ten years of clinical experience working in, leading and developing community and inpatient services between 1994 and 2004.
Passionate about leading teams, getting the very best from each encounter, the development of others using opportunities that exist even when the world can feel very gloomy plus an internal energy learnt from the survival of having six children!; Julian remains positive about the NHS with the caveat that all employees of the system must be as agile and knowledgeable about the context of the NHS and knowledgeable about themselves to survive.
