Jonathan has over 20 years ‘hands-on’ experience in petroleum exploration and development onshore UK, including seismic acquisition, drilling, production, gas storage and decommissioning.
He is Managing Director of Zetland Group, a consultancy specialising in Regulatory Compliance and the first to successfully secure both planning permission and environmental permits for High Volume Hydraulic Fracturing onshore UK since the Government imposed moratorium was lifted in 2012. Jonathan is also founder and director of the Onshore Energy Services Group, an organisation that exists to advance the interests of British SMEs in the supply chain that supports onshore oil and gas. He is a member of the Royal Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Solution Mining Research Institute, the United Kingdom Onshore Oil and Gas Group and the All Party Parliamentary Group for Unconventional Oil and Gas.
