John Wisson is International Product Director at Lumos Diagnostics. Lumos Diagnostics provides rapid, cost-effective point of care (POC) tests for infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship. The company’s innovative and patented FebriDx® test is a 10-minute POC test to differentiate bacterial from viral acute respiratory infection from fingerstick blood and is being used within the NHS. John is responsible for the market development and adoption of FebriDx POC test in Europe, Middle East and Asia. John has worked in the Infectious Disease Medical Diagnostics industry for the last 25 years mainly within Point of Care for acute respiratory infections and antimicrobial stewardship. John has previously worked as an R&D Development Scientist, Standards Validation Scientist and International Technical Support Manager Before moving to Industry John worked for the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist at Bedford General Hospital specialising in Microbiology and Virology.
