I work an inspection manager in the central region, adult social care directorate and manage the north Birmingham team of inspectors. These inspectors inspect care home, nursing homes and community services in Birmingham and the Black Country.

I qualified and worked as a registered general nurse and then later on as a registered learning disability nurse, before starting work in regulation in 1991, where I have worked with all the predecessor organisations and have seen many changes to the way we regulate services.
