YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Jane Case is the Northern Hub Manager for YoungMinds .Throughout her professional career, the mental health and emotional wellbeing agenda has always been integral to the work she has undertaken. This has covered a variety of roles including working in education with children and young people, training Learning Mentors across the North West to commissioning Public Health services and programmes to address health inequalities.
Jane has over 8 years experience in commissioning prevention and early intervention services and has strategically led and developed a range of interventions on a number of themes such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health provision, Domestic Abuse , Health Inequalities and Child Sexual Exploitation . This work has involved system and service redesign, for children and young people who have suffered adverse childhood experiences. Jane worked as an associate consultant for YoungMinds for two years before taking on this new post and the Northern Hub development is an exciting one for YoungMinds .
