Jane has been the Independent Chair of the Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children’s Board since 2012 and is also the Independent Chair of the Lancashire Safeguarding Children’s Board. Jane is an experienced Senior Manager who has worked in Social Care for over 40 years. She was the Assistant Director of Social Services in Kirklees with responsibility for Children’s Services. She was Acting Director for the Social Services Inspectorate with responsibility for the North West Region. She has held a number of key roles in Cafcass including Corporate Director and Deputy Chief Executive.
