Helen Chandler is Head of Partnerships at the Disclosure and Barring Service. Helen has worked for the DBS (and its predecessor - CRB) since 2005 in roles including Head of Policy and Head of the Chair and Chief Executive’s Office.
More recently, Helen has used her knowledge, experience and passion for DBS and safeguarding to introduce a regionally based approach to outreach and engagement providing support from grass roots to national levels. She is also responsible for the DBS national conference and external events and the development and management of strategic engagement and partnerships.
Helen says, ‘I feel extremely privileged to be able to lead the fantastic Partnerships Team, knowing that we play a key role in raising the profile of DBS, developing trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners to help them to understand how our products and services can help them to make recruitment safer.’
