Hazel Griffiths is a retired ED nurse, a carer for her autistic son. She is an advisor on many projects, Health Education England, Oliver McGowan Mandatory training (OMMT), BASW homes not hospitals, , skills for care, NHS STOMP, transforming care , NHS LTP, DHSC independent MHA review, DHSC building the right support and Co design/deliver autism, stomp, human rights and carer awareness training to all job grades and families and speak at local, regional, national and international conferences.
Hazel's passion lies in early help, prevention, promoting a positive narrative around autism, reasonably adjusted, welcoming services, reducing restrictive practices, good physical and mental health, human rights based approaches and practice, quality care, patient safety and quality of Life outcomes.
She will share how she helps families to navigate the complex health and social care systems.
