NAFP is the not-for-profit organisation that has been campaigning on behalf of independent fostering agencies, and the children for whom they care, since 2008. NAFP members care for around 95% of children living with IFA foster carers across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Harvey previously worked for the British Association for Adoption & Fostering, The Institute of Education (University of London) and YoungMinds. He began his career working for Gateshead, Newcastle and North Tyneside councils, holds an MBA from the Open University, is a fellow of the RSA, charity trustee, volunteer and former chair of school governors. He is a father of five, grandfather, runner, cyclist, vegan and Newcastle United supporter!
