Harry Golby is Head of Service Improvement at Salford CCG. He leads the team of commissioning managers within the CCG. The team deliver a broad range of commissioning programmes and work with GP practices via neighbourhood arrangements to support the development of primary care. Many of these commissioning programmes involve partnership working with the City Council and with other organisations across Greater Manchester. Harry’s portfolio is diverse and ranges from primary medical care to specialist hospital services. Harry takes a particular interest in children’s services and represents the CCG in a variety of forums which are aiming to develop more integrated responses to meet the health, education and social care needs of the city’s children and young people. Harry has worked in Salford for over a decade, holding various NHS commissioning roles at different points in time.
