Gosia Geslak has over 30 years of experience in practicing nursing. She has worked as a scrub nurse at the surgical theatre at the Children Academic Hospital in Poland. When she moved to Ireland and Northern Ireland she first worked in nursing homes before gaining experience at acute care, A&E, endoscopy unit, surgical ward, and the infusion unit. She graduated with an MSc degree in Public Health and Population Health at UU. At present she works as a Clinical Research Nurse covering studies at three hospitals in the Western Health and Social Care NHS Trust. She works in collaboration with Ulster University, Queens University, Manchester university, university of Galway and Trinity College. She has been working on various projects covering issues such as Dementia, Mental health, COVID, Inflammation Bowel disease, Diabetes, Ankelosing Spondoilitis, MS and Asthma. She is known as passionate and enthusiastic nurse who cares for her colleagues and patients and an active member in the community promoting health and wellbeing.
