Emery Igiraneza has more than 15 years of working in the UK refugee sector. He has worked with all major charities in the refugee sector. He is currently working for the International Rescue Committee as their Head of UK programmes. Previously Emery worked with Refugee Action, Bolton Council, Refugee Council, International Labour Organisation. From 2022, Emery sits on the board of Doctors Without Boarders as one of their Board Trustee. Emery holds two Masters degrees, one in International relations and globalisation and a Masters of Business Administration- MBA from Salford and Bolton Universities respectively and a professional certificate in Leadership from the University of Cambridge.
