Ellie joined the Department for Health and Social Care just over three and a half years ago, immediately after completing her degree in psychology. Of these three had a half years, she has spent the last two in the Department’s mental health team, building experience on various policy areas from data and information, suicide prevention and self-harm. Her current role is in children and young people’s mental health, as part of the team developing and implementing the joint health and education Green Paper. Ellie enjoys the challenge of working in such an important, relevant and high profile policy area, and working with a broad range of other government departments, third sector organisations and users.
