Dr Yvonne Owen is the Medical Director of Lincolnshire Community Health Services and also a part-time practising GP. She has extensive experience and knowledge of Urgent and Emergency Care having worked as a rural GP, providing a voluntary, emergency medical pre-hospital response as a LIVES doctor for over 20 years. As a GP, Yvonne has had the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in Primary & Secondary Care, in Emergency Services and A&E departments and has acquired a unique oversight of the requirements and benefits of a truly integrated system. Having advanced from Lead GP for Out of Hours, to Medical Lead for Urgent Care and ultimately Medical Director for LCHS, Yvonne has had the opportunity to use her experience to work at a strategic level across the County of Lincolnshire.
In 2015, Yvonne was recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List and awarded the MBE for services to public health.
