Dr Rachel Hiller is a clinical psychologist and prize research fellow in the Department of Psychology, University of Bath. Her research explores the psychological processes that link experiences of child trauma or maltreatment to poor mental health outcomes, with a focus on posttraumatic stress disorder. She also has a particular interest in improving young people's access to evidence-based treatments for trauma-related distress. Her current work is focussed on improving how we understand and support the trauma-related mental health needs of young people in care, funded by an Economic and Social Research Council Future Research Leader grant.
