Dr Ishani Patel is a GP, cancer advisor for RMPartners accountable cancer network and co-founder of Lantum with a wide-ranging portfolio evolving her to be a leading voice in GP recruitment, retention and engagement at scale. At Lantum she has championed innovation and sustainability for the GP workforce. Lantum is an evolving platform that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to enable organisations to deliver primary care at scale. It is utilised in 40+ Federations across the country, has saved the NHS over £7m and enabled over 4m primary care NHS appointments. The platform has also offered a stability for areas that are struggling to recruit by offering engagement, talent retention and resilience to the system. Ishani has also held leadership roles at Transforming cancer services team (London) at NHS England, RCGP and Macmillan to drive forward quality improvement in early diagnosis of cancer and a member of the Harvard Medical Innovators and leadership alumni.
